日本語サマープログラム2016 Japanese Summer Program2016

お茶の水女子大学の協定大学で日本語を学ぶ学生を対象とした3週間のプログラムです。総合的な日本語の授業とプロジェクトワークを通して、アカデミックな日本語能力の養成を目指します。また、プロジェクトワーク、日本文化体験、週末ツアーなど、日本人との交流の場も多々あります。
This is a 3-week program for students who are studying the Japanese language at partner universities. This program aims to improve academic Japanese skills through comprehensive language classes and “project work.”Students also have opportunities to meet Japanese people through various events.

About Us

Overview: What is the Center for International Education?

　The Center for International Education was founded with the aim of promoting international cultural exchange. It provides necessary support, guidance and information for international students, Japanese students wishing to undertake studies abroad, and students already overseas. We organize the following key programs designed to assist study abroad students in their education and to help them network and make social connections: (1) preparatory studies of Japanese language for graduate courses, (2) studies in Japanese language and culture, (3) help and support for international students throughout their entire period of study, such as advice and counseling on academic and non-academic matters, and (4) an environment for international students to increase mutual understanding and to interact with Japanese peers.

Organization and Operation

　The Center is organized in two divisions: the Japanese language and culture teaching section, and the student exchange and advisory section. The former offers courses in Japanese language, current affairs, and preparatory Japanese language training for university classes. The latter provides counseling and support services for the international students at the university. It also organizes programs for exchange students and members of the Japanese community in and around campus.

I.Japanese Language Program

Online Orientation
Center for International Education(at Ochanomizu University) provides an online orientation and Japanese Lessons for incoming students prior to their arrivals to Japan
Japanese language /Society and Culture courses
“Tokubetsu Kamoku” – specialized courses for international students
“Tokusetsu” Japanese language course
The Center offers supplementary Japanese language courses of varying levels to meet the needs of the students.
Japanese Language and Culture Studies
One-year Japanese language training course for Japanese government scholarship students

The Center provides counseling and guidance for foreign students studying at Ochanomizu University. Professional staff and student tutors are available to discuss personal or academic concerns.
