Notification of Grants-in-aide for SDG-related research FY2023

The Institute for SDGs Promotion provides the following research grants for individual research, joint research with researchers inside and outside the university, and joint research with companies and other institutions, with the aim of discovering research that will lead the university's SDGs studies and revitalizing research activities that contribute to the SDGs.

<Guidelines for Application FY2023>

1. Eligibility
・Principal Investigator: Academic faculty members (excluding specially appointed faculty members)
・Co-investigators: Researchers from inside and outside the university may be included.

2. Application requirements and maximum application amount, etc.
・Requirements: Research in line with the purpose and objectives of the Institute for SDGs Promotion
・Application amount: Up to 1 million yen per application
(The Director of Organization for Social Implementation of Sustainability, the Director of the Institute and directors of each section will review and decide on the projects to be adopted, and then decide the allocation amount within the scope of the Institute's budget.)

3. Deadline for the submission
・4:00 p.m. (JST) on Monday, June 19, 2023

4. Research Period
・From the date of notification of the adoption decision to the end of March 6, 2023 (*however, accounting treatment has to be done until the end of February, 2023)

5. Applications Procedures
・ Fill in the form "Application Form" and "Accumulation History" below and apply by electronic file

6. Submission address
・Submit an email attachment to the Office of the Institute for SDGs Promotion:

7. Use of expenses
・The rules and enforcement procedures for the use of this fund are basically the same as those for faculty research funds.

8. Submission of reports and reports at public research report meetings
・Applicants must submit a report at the end of the year 2023 and report at the public research report meeting hosted by the Institute for SDGs Promotion in 2024.
