EDI Program held the International Student Symposium on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, from 13:25-16:20 at Ochanomizu University, Inter-Faculty Building 2, Room 201.
The symposium featured opening remarks by Vice President Ishii-Kuntz Masako, student final report, and closing remarks by EDI Project Lecturer Misako Hirano.
Under the following program, 4 group presentations were given by 14 EDI program students in English, reviewing global internships, the summer program and autumn courses in the EDI program. 4 students (2 Ochanomizu students and 2 international students) , who participated in the long-term internship program of English education at the Ochanomizu Elementary School and EtonHouse International School, gave presentations regarding their experiences during the internship.
The Ochanomizu students presented their learning experiences related to EDI (Equity, Diversity, Inclusion) online, reflecting on their experiences of studying abroad in the partner-universities in the UK and Australia.
In total, 30 participants (including 13 Ochanomizu students (6 students online), 8 international students, 2 company representatives, 7 faculty members) participated in the international student symposium.
