EDI Program Global Internship Presentations_FY2025

On November 5, 2025, the EDI program held the Global Internship Presentation at Ochanomizu University. It started by the opening remark by Dr. Ishii-Kuntz Masako, the Trustee and Vice President of Ochanomizu University, followed by the student-presentations in English by EDI Program participants (the students of Ochanomizu University and the partner universities) and the feedbacks of representatives of 9 internship host companies. With the cooperation of the host companies, a total of 47 people attended the session, including the students participating in the EDI program, the representatives of the host companies, external lecturers in charge of the preparatory classes, and the faculty members, and auditing students.

Ochanomizu students and international students participating in the EDI program gave presentations in English on their activities at nine companies where they have conducted global internships. During the 2-week short-term internship, many EDI (Equity, Diversity, Inclusion) issues were discussed, including training and activities promoting cultural diversity, establishing inclusiveness in working environments, oversea business expansion strategies, and promotions in oversea branches to meet diverse demands of the global market. After each of the 10-minute presentations, the representatives of each company commented on the students' activities. The students' participation and cooperation were generally highly evaluated, leading to the establishment of a cooperative framework for next year's global internship program.
