Wuppertal Summer School

This program provides support for students to participate in our partner school Bergische Universität Wuppertal (Wuppertal, Germany) environmental science summer school, with the aim of fostering female leaders who will take active roles internationally.
Theme from 2011: Sustainable Chemistry: Primary Renewable Resources

Overseas Research Program

This program provides support for graduate students to independently and proactively conduct overseas research activities, including research of literatures and materials, fieldwork in the region, and the acquisition of new research methods.

Japan-Korea 3 Women’s University Joint Symposium

For the Promotion of Education and Research for Women in Science, in co-operation with Ewha Womans University and Japan Women’s University, Ochanomizu University holds research presentation meetings for students in science and engineering majors. The meetings are held at Ewha Womans University (Korea) and Ochanomizu University (Japan), where undergraduate and graduate students from our university participate every year by presenting their research in English.

Ewha-Luce International Seminar(ELIS) 

The Ewha-Luce International Seminar (ELIS) is a program launched by Ewha Womans University (Korea) with the sponsorship of the Henry Luce Foundation of the United States.
This seminar brings together female graduate students in the sciences from the United States, Korea, and other Asian countries to consider the future of global female leadership in the sciences through a variety of activities. This seminar for future careers includes: presentations from top leaders in academia and business today; discussion and networking with leaders in the field; sharing the history and culture of Korea and other East Asian countries; bonding with peers in the U.S. and East Asia; presentation and discussion of student’s own visions.
