日本語クラスには、「特設日本語」と「日本語・日本事情」の2種類があります。

There are two types of Japanese language classes ："Special Japanese" and "Seminars on Japanese & Japanese Culture".

特設日本語 Special Japanese Class

在学する留学生が研究生活を円滑・有意義に送るために必要な、さまざまなレベルと内容の日本語学習の機会を提供するコースです。「入門初級」から「上級」まで、様々なレベルの授業を開講します。これらの授業は正規科目ではないので、単位互換を希望する留学生は、自分の大学に問い合わせてください。
These classes provide opportunities for international students to study Japanese at various levels and contents necessary for a smooth and meaningful research. We offer classes at various levels from "Introductory Beginners" to "Advanced". These classes are not regular courses. International Students who wish to tranefer credits should contact their own universities.

留学生がコア科目の外国語科目等として履修することができる正規科目です。
These are regular couses that international students can take as core foreign language courses.
