日本語クラスには、「特設日本語」と「日本語・日本事情」の2種類があります。

There are two types of Japanese language classes ："Special Japanese" and "Seminars on Japanese & Japanese Culture".

特設日本語 Special Japanese Classes

在学する留学生が研究や学習を円滑・有意義に行うために必要な、さまざまなレベルと内容の日本語学習の機会を提供するコースです。「入門初級」から「上級」までの授業を開講します。これらの授業はお茶の水女子大学が単位認定を行う正規科目ではないので、単位互換を希望する留学生は、自分の大学に問い合わせてください。
These classes provide international students with opportunities to study Japanese at various levels and contents, which is necessary for them to conduct their research and studies smoothly and meaningfully. We offer classes ranging from "beginner level" to "advanced" level. These classes are not regular subjects for which Ochanomizu university will transfer credits, so international students who wish to transfer credits should contact their home university.

留学生がコア科目の外国語科目等として履修することができる正規科目です。
These are regular couses that international students can take as core foreign language courses.
