We will exhibit at the 9th National Convention on Food Loss Reduction in Chiyoda, to be held at Otemachi Place Hall & Conference (Chiyoda City, Tokyo) on October 30, 2025.
The National Convention on Food Loss Reduction is a nationwide event held annually in conjunction with Food Loss Reduction Day on October 30. The convention aims to raise public awareness and promote social momentum toward the reduction of food loss. This year, the event will take place in Chiyoda City.
At the convention, we will present the following materials to introduce its initiatives:
1. Poster presentations highlighting the OCHA-SDGs Student Committee’s food loss reduction activities, including:
・Reports on food drive activities conducted in collaboration with affiliated schools and companies
・Results of interview surveys conducted with farmers on the utilization of non-standard vegetables
2. Introductions to research papers on food loss reduction authored by Institute fellows
3. Distribution of informational materials, including Institute leaflets and related publications.
