Hot Chocolate Tasting Held at the Kiin Festival
(Written by: OCHA-SDGs Student Committee)
At this year’s Kiin Festival, the OCHA-SDGs Student Committee carried out a range of activities over two days in collaboration with the Kiin Festival Executive Committee (KIFC).
As part of these initiatives, the committee provided hot chocolate made using sustainably sourced chocolate. Approximately 60 to 80 cups were served each day, allowing many visitors to enjoy the tasting.
In addition, a chocolate-themed quiz rally named “Chocolate Journey” was organized. The activity attracted many participants, particularly children, and was well received. Posters addressing the theme “Chocolate and the SDGs” were also displayed, offering visitors an opportunity to learn about environmental and social issues related to chocolate production and consumption.
Furthermore, we exhibited information on its regular activities, with the aim of fostering greater understanding and familiarity among visitors. A total of 208 visitors were recorded on the first day and 174 on the second day, indicating strong interest in the committee’s initiatives.
