mottECO is a government-recommended initiative jointly promoted by the Ministry of the Environment, Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, and Consumer Affairs Agency. It encourages not only finishing your meal and ordering appropriate portions but also taking leftovers home when dining out, aiming for nationwide food loss reduction through public-private collaboration.
We will continue to collaborate with various partners, drawing on student creativity to explore how everyday consumers can actively reduce food waste.
Our institute has signed a comprehensive partnership agreement with Seven & i Holdings Co., Ltd. to promote the SDGs.
