(Prof. Aya Tanatani ; Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science)
Report 2:  "Development of cerium fluoride-based solid electrolytes for fluoride ion secondary batteries"
(Assoc. Prof. Akira Chikamatsu ; Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science)

Event Report

In the first presentation, Professor Aya Tanatani (Faculty of Science) reported on the application of novel vitamin D derivatives to rodenticides. She explained the structure and function of the novel lithocholic acid derivative Dcha-20, which exhibits high vitamin D activity, and discussed its potential application as a rodenticide.

In the second presentation, Associate Professor Akira Chikamatsu (Faculty of Science) focused on cerium fluoride as a solid electrolyte for all-solid-state secondary batteries utilizing fluorine, which has attracted attention as an alternative to lithium. He also introduced methods for synthesizing single-crystal thin films of this material.

  • 第1報告棚谷先生 (Professor Aya Tanatani)
  • 第2報告近松先生 (Associate Professor Akira Chikamatsu)
