Sustainability Week 2025, an inter-university SDGs collaboration, was held from Monday, June 16, to Saturday, June 21, 2025. The theme of this year's week-long event was “Considering the SDGs as a Personal Matter.”
Following the success of last year's initiative, this second Sustainability Week was organized primarily by student organizations from four universities: the UTokyo GX Student Network (UTokyoGXSN, The University of Tokyo), the Plastic Waste Reduction Team (Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology), the Osaka University My Bottle Project “Carry My Bottle,” and the OCHA-SDGs Student Committee (Ochanomizu University).
Each participating university implemented activities reflecting its distinctive focus. At Ochanomizu University, events included an SDGs Book Exhibition, the “Oyuzuri Fes” (Giveaway Festival), and a survey and exhibition on plant-based diets.

During the morning session, participants shared reports on their activities and discussed potential future initiatives, resulting in a productive exchange of ideas. In the afternoon, “Climate Live,” an event combining music with climate change awareness, was held, providing an opportunity for participants to enjoy music while strengthening connections with students from other universities.

The OCHA-SDGs Student Committee would like to express its sincere appreciation to all those who supported and participated in this initiative.
