'The Influence of Psychosocial Factors on Eating Behavior and Obesity: Implications for Prevention and Intervention'

Institute for SDGs Promotion will invite Dr. Petra Warschburger of the University of Potsdam to give a public lecture on Thursday, March 7 (online viewing available).

We look forward to the participation of all students, faculty, and staff as well as a wide range of interested parties. Please feel free to join this seminar regardless of your affiliation.

【Title】
The influence of psychosocial factors on eating behavior and obesity: Implications for prevention and intervention
【Summary】
Obesity is a highly prevalent and continuously increasing health condition with multiple underlying factors. Current research highlights the importance of psychosocial influences in its multifactorial etiology. This talk provides a concise overview of the relevant psychosocial factors contributing to obesity.  Furthermore, Prof. Warschburger demonstrates implications for prevention and intervention approaches, drawing on treatment interventions for children and adolescents.
