2024年11月19日更新

The food drive FY2024 was a success. Thank you very much.
(The article of the event report is here.)

On September 26, 2022, Ochanomizu University concluded a Comprehensive Collaborative Agreement on SDGs with Seven & i Holdings Co. Since then, as one form of industry-Academia cooperation, we have been working together to implement research outcomes into society in order to realize a sustainable society.

This year, as part of the University's SDGs promotion activities, a food drive*1 will be held. It has been conducted in collaboration with the affiliated schools (kindergarten, elementary school, junior high school, and high school) since June, and a large number of food items have already been collected.

In December 2024, the university's food drive will be held around the campus. Please see the details below and join us. We look forward to the participation of many Ochanomizu students, faculty, and staff.

This year, we will conduct surveys about food drives on campus. Please check on the poster around campus and cooperate for the questionnaires as well.

*1 Food drive: An activity in which households bring in foods that are no longer eaten at home to donate to people in need through welfare organizations and food banks (NPOs, social welfare councils, etc.)
