Essay Contest, Ocha-IGL Award 2022
Institute for Global Leadership (IGL) holds an English essay contest named the “Ocha-IGL Award”, targeting students who have attended our symposiums and seminars.
IGL has held Ocha-IGL Award annually since 2021 with the support of professors who spoke at the IGL symposium and wished to donated their honorarium. Claudia Peus, Vice President of the Technical University of Munich, and Keiko Honda, Adjunct Professor at Columbia University, former CEO of the World Bank Group's Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency, kindly offered to donate the honorarium to the student leadership education at Ochanomizu University.
Applicants who have participated in an IGL-sponsored program are eligible for this call. Candidates must write an English essay reflecting on what they have learned about leaders/leadership, and how they will apply their knowledge in the future. Outstanding works selected by the committee will win a prize.
