Report on the Ceremony for OCHA-SDGs Action Awards 2022
On Friday, April 21, 2023, the ceremony for OCHA-SDGs Action Awards 2022 and the handover ceremony for OCHA-SDGs Student Committee executive members were held on the same occasion.
The awards are given to outstanding activities of the ESD (Education for Sustainable Development), Environment, and Food groups based on their presentations on their achievements in 2022 and future activity plans for 2023.

The day also served as the first regular meeting of OCHA-SDGs Student Committee of the year 2023, which was attended by Professor Etsuko SAITO, the new director of Institute for SDGs Promotion, and Professor Yoko FUJIWARA, the former director of the Institute.
OCHA-SDGs Student Committee for 2023 will be led by Ms. Satomi NAKAMURA (2nd year, Faculty of Letters and Education).
The new leader Ms. NAKAMURA introduced the new committee, stating that from this year, the committee will aim to build external partnerships for more active sustainability activities, and in addition to the structure established last year, the committee will promote its activities while strengthening its collaboration with other universities, companies, and affiliated schools.
Ms. NAKAMURA stated: "Let's all work together to reflect our interest in the SDGs, strive to build a network among students, and forward our SDG activities!"
Each member of the first OCHA-SDGs student committee who made a significant contribution to SDG activities on campus through the year 2022 was awarded a certificate by Institute for SDGs Promotion.
