Student Committee members joined Onigiri Action 2024

Onigiri Action 2024 (hosted by TABLE FOR TWO) was held from October 3rd to November 16th.

OCHA-SDGs Student Committee continued to join the project from last year by posting photos on the Institute's SNS accounts (X and Instagram).

It is reported that, in this year's Onigiri Action, approximately 300,000 photos were posted over 45 days, and approximately 1.46 million school lunches were delivered to children in Africa and Asia. (Reference: Official website https://onigiri-action.com/en/)

Even among us, more than 45 photos were collected during the period, and photos of onigiri were shared almost every day.

Not only did we help children in impoverished countries around the world, but through this Onigiri Action, I feel like we were able to disseminate the joy and fun of making and eating delicious onigiri to the public.

It was such a good opportunity that the exchange across project teams in the student committee also expanded.

Through participation in activities like this, we hope to continue to find closely and think deeply of social issues both in Japan and abroad.
