Apply to join OCHA-SDGs Student Committee
We accept applications at any time throughout the year
Institute for SDGs Promotion is committed to promoting SDG initiatives with students.
In FY2024, we are continuing to organize OCHA-SDGs Student Committee by asking Ms. Senri Doi to take over as the third Student Committee Chair, passing the baton from last year's Student Committee Chair, Ms. Satomi Nakamura.
Below is a comment from the first student committee chair.
Hello.
I am pleased to inform you of the recruitment of student committee members by Institute for SDGs Promotion.
Institute for SDGs Promotion was established in April 2022 with the theme, from the perspective of "Sei-katsu-sha", to further accelerate the University's SDG initiatives. We, the students, are expected to be actively involved in the SDG actions and advance the University's efforts in this institute. (*Sei-katsu-sha: subjects who are creatively involved in enriching their lives. )
The University's research and activities to promote the SDGs have been named "OCHA-SDGs". The student committee of Institute for SDGs Promotion, which is now accepting applications for committee members, will work with you to create everything from such as how to get involved in OCHA-SDGs or how the student committee will be organized. If we can take advantage of the "vertical collaboration" with our university's high-level affiliated schools, we expect that we will be able to develop innovative activities unique to OCHA-SDGs that other universities cannot imitate.
Ochanomizu University students who are highly interested in the SDGs, why don't you join us as a student committee member of Institute for SDGs Promotion and help us shape our thoughts on the SDGs together?
Therefore, we are now accepting applications for membership in the OCHA-SDGs Student Committee, a student organization that is an actual working unit of the Institute and that will improve our university from the perspective of the SDGs.
