Chairman and Vice-chairman of OCHA-SDGs Student Committee visited Okayama University for exchange.

Chairman Satomi Nakamura and Vice-chairman Senri Doi had the honor to visit Okayama University on behalf of OCHA-SDGs Student Committee on February 22-23, 2024.

Over two days, they visited Data Science Department (DS Department) and SDGs Ambassador TFT (TABLE FOR TWO) of Okayama University.

Both universities had an opportunity to share activities and exchange ideas on how to achieve the SDGs on their original ways.

They then exchanged opinions with Professor Mitsunobu Kano, Vice Director of Okayama University and Chair of the SDGs Promotion and Planning Council in the University, on how student activities should be conducted. Finally, they paid a courtesy visit to President Yasutomo Nasu of Okayama University.

In addition to the daily cooperation among universities in Bunkyo City, we hope that this visit to Okayama University will be an opportunity to make full use of the wider network of universities in Japan to make a greater and more significant contribution to student activities toward achieving the SDGs.
