Report on the Summer Online Activity of OCHA-SDGs Student Committee
OCHA-SDGs Student Committee members' summer activities report meeting was held online September 11-13, 2023.
Four to five student committee members gave a PowerPoint presentation on the SDGs that they experienced in their hometowns and other places during their summer vacation, and then the participants were divided into three groups to discuss what they presented.
The student committee members shared various insights with each other, such as a festival that is being held by young people in the Aizu region of Fukushima Prefecture to revitalize the region, a circular economy initiative by Kamakura City with Keio University, environmental conservation at an AEON Mall in Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture, and amenities at a hotel they were traveling to.

We hope that what students can learn from the self-governing efforts of regional communities will be applied to their future activities.
