Report on OchaEco Lunchboxes sales and dinner take-out
OCHA-SDGs student committee member and the university’s Vice President Prof. Rie Akamatsu, a researcher of the institute, collaborated with the university's Co-op Cafeteria to sell OchaEco lunchboxes (“Bento”) in order to reduce food loss and waste.
OchaEco Bento is a lunch box made up of leftovers from the Co-op cafeteria lunch sales and sold in limited quantities for a limited time (13:40-14:00).

This activity was conducted as part of a research project, and the student committee member supervised by the member of the institute were in charge of public relations activities, data collection and analysis, etc. The results will be compiled and submitted as an academic paper during FY2024.
